These trade terms apply to trade accounts of Ästhetik (Heritage Fabrics Management LLC) and supplement our site-wide Terms of Sale. Where they differ, these trade terms control for trade accounts.

Payment terms

Payment terms — including credit card or pre-payment before shipping — are as agreed at account establishment or as stated on your order confirmation. Accounts past due may be subject to a late charge and/or suspension of future shipments.

Pricing & order acceptance

Prices are in U.S. dollars. The price at the time of order confirmation is binding for that order. Typographical errors in pricing are subject to correction without prior notice. Orders are subject to acceptance by Ästhetik; the order confirmation constitutes acceptance unless we notify you otherwise within two (2) business days.

Bolt orders

Fabric put-ups are nominal. A bolt ships as one uncut piece, and actual bolt yardage varies by mill lot — typically up to approximately 20% over the nominal put-up. Invoices reflect the actual yardage shipped, at your per-yard price for that order. Order totals shown at checkout for bolt lines are therefore estimates based on nominal yardage.

Cut yardage

Cut yardage is available to approved trade accounts. Orders below the bolt minimum may be subject to a cutting charge; the minimum cut is 5 yards (20 yards for wide goods over 100 inches in width). Cut yardage from goods over 54" in width ships on a tube, which increases shipping cost due to tube length. Cut yardage cannot be returned or cancelled.

Shipping & risk of loss

Select your shipping at checkout: prepaid & added to invoice (we arrange the carrier), or ship on your own carrier account — enter your carrier, account number, and routing instructions in the fields provided at checkout. Shipping instructions on a purchase order (including freight collect) are honored when clear and visible. If no instructions are provided we ship 1–3 rolls via UPS Ground and 3+ rolls via a freight carrier of our choice, with shipping charges invoiced with the goods. Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed; we are not liable for carrier, weather, or other delays outside our control. Risk of loss on own-carrier-account shipments passes at carrier pickup.

Inspection & claims

Inspect all goods promptly on receipt. Shade variations, minor imperfections, and repeat tolerances are inherent characteristics and do not constitute defects. Claims for shortages, damages, or defects must be submitted in writing to info@asthetik.com within five (5) business days of receipt, with photos. Claims cannot be accepted for goods that have been cut, processed, or altered in any manner.

Returns

Only returns reviewed and authorized by Ästhetik are accepted: authorized returns receive a Return for Credit (goods shipped back) or a Credit Memo (goods kept and recycled by the buyer, at our direction). Approved returns of non-damaged goods are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only with prior written consent. Special orders, custom cuts, and clearance items are non-cancellable and non-returnable once confirmed. Accepted cancellations are subject to a 25% fee based on the cost of the goods. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or non-compliance with these terms; in such cases you'll be notified promptly and any prepayment refunded.
