Maybelle is referred to as an eyelash fabric. The specialized weaving technique cuts the weft threads and creates the dimension for this geometric design. The unique craftsmanship and aesthetic are done by hand at the mill. The clipping creates a raised frayed effect enhancing the delicate interplay. The space dyed ground resembles pattern Jakarta. The clipping will always be asymmetrical in nature due to the hand cut technique. The beauty of Maybelle is that she is never perfect.
